Than Tower Gold Coast apartments is a 9-story apartment building at 343 W Schiller Street, at the corner of Sedgwick and Schiller in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood. Completed in 2020 and designed by Brininstool + Lynch, the building includes 105 apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom homes.

Than Tower offers a 5,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge with a fire pit and grilling stations, a fitness center, an indoor dog run with irrigated turf and a dog wash spa, a resident lounge with a fireplace and kitchen/dining area, bike storage, and package service.

Unit Features

Units range from studios and junior one-bedrooms around 569 to 639 square feet, to one-bedroom homes from roughly 623 to 784 square feet (some with a separate office), up to two-bedroom homes from about 1,087 to 1,180 square feet. Every unit includes a built-in desk and in-unit washer and dryer, and select units have east-facing balconies. Than Tower was the first Chicago apartment building to use INTUS energy-efficient windows.
